Grappa Flower Lamp Chandelier, 96 Rothschild in Tel Aviv

Grappa Flower Lamp Chandelier, 96 Rothschild Hotel, Tel Aviv

The organic Grappa Flower Lamp Chandelier, by Aviad Petel, falls through the stairwell of the boutique hotel ‘96 Rothschild’ in Tel Aviv. 12 meters in height, the concept was to create a light feature that flowed through the space, taking influences from the climbing pomea tricolor plant.

There is a hint of art deco to the form and colour of the flowers, that marries well with the stairwell design and ballustrade.

The Passenger Bar and Restaurant, Madrid

The Passenger Bar and Restaurant, Madrid, Spain

The recently opened Passenger Bar and Restaurant, by Parolio, is a retro dining experience, with rich, heavy finishes of leather, brass and dark wood. The theme of Passenger, is the idea of travelling in a train car, during the height of 1930s rail travel. This concept is most notably felt through the windows, where screens play a video stream showing landscape passing by, flowing from window to window, creating the feeling of looking of a moving train.
